Redemption watch

Intermediaries whose net flows in a strategy have turned negative for a stated number of consecutive months against their own buying history, while the strategy overall is still gathering. Flows turn months before assets fall, and the list ranks by assets at risk with runway.

Flows, not assets

A rising market hides outflows in the asset figure for months. Net flow is the intermediary's decision.

Strategy context

If every intermediary is redeeming, it is the strategy. The list shows the strategy's own net flow beside each line.

How it is computed

Intermediaries whose trailing three-month net flow in a strategy has turned negative for a stated number of months while assets remain near their peak.

Example

An intermediary holds $420 million, down only 2 percent. Its last three months show $18 million in and $41 million out.

Where it goes wrong

Assets watched instead of flows. Markets hold assets up while clients leave.
