Correction source is the field on a held customs entry, a rejected claim or a returned invoice that records who fixed it. If the customer supplied the missing value, the cause is customer data; if the broker or the billing team re-keyed it, the cause is entry; if nobody corrected anything, the hold was the authority's or the payer's choice. The mapping from correction source to cause is written once and applied to every hold, and it is what makes a cause split trustworthy.
